Lyons Ballantine Edinburgh based Lyons Ballantine works in a contemporary art gallery set within one of the world’s largest Botanic Gardens. As an experiential artist, LB finds inspiration in the ever-growing and changing plant life around her. More recently the devising of new projects has been replaced with spending more time considering how art can interrupt and change our approach to the planet and its resources. Past works have included: hiring children to work in a mill, one-to-one experiences, sunlight drawings, and paintings of translated North Korean propaganda posters.
